Volunteer

People choose to volunteer for a variety of reasons. For some it offers the chance to give something back to the community or make a difference to the people around them. For others it provides an opportunity to develop new skills or build on existing experience and knowledge. Regardless of the motivation, what unites them all is that they find it both challenging and rewarding.

Why not volunteer? You could help us at Sid Valley Help or with one of the other voluntary groups in Sidmouth such as Sidmouth Hospice at Home, the Memory Café, Sidmouth Voluntary Services, or the Food Bank. Call us for an informal chat and advice on 01395 892 011.

Sid Valley Help needs volunteers to join our befriending team to visit people at home, generally for an hour or two every week, or to phone them regularly. Training will be provided and volunteers have team leader who can help with any issues. To find our more please ring our Helpline on 01395 892 011 and leave a message and Ron will call you back or email info@sidvalleyhelp.org.uk
