Citizens Advice helps people find a way forward with problems that seem complicated or intimidating and gives good quality, independent advice. Citizens Advice give advice to millions of people across the UK through a network of independent charities offers confidential advice online, over the phone, and in person, for free. It is independent and totally impartial.

Advice is given on benefits, employment and work, debts and money, consumer issues, family issues, housing, law and courts, immigration, and health.

Citizens Advice East Devon offer a local service. They have offices in Exmouth and Honiton although currently these offices are closed.
