Objective: To provide a holistic service to help people when they have been diagnosed with a life-limiting illness, as well as their carers and families. Our specialist nurses aim to improve the patient's quality of life by providing physical and emotional support to patients and their carers, recognising each person as an individual.

Target Group: For patients who have been diagnosed with a life-limiting illness and referred to Sidmouth Hospiscare by their GP, and their carers and families.
Transport Provided? Yes - By volunteer drivers who use their own car. This service is to help patients and their carers attend the hospital and GP appointments and daycare. Users must be mobile or be able to transfer from a car seat to a wheelchair by themselves. Our volunteers will assist where necessary and ensure that passengers reach the destination in a safe and timely manner.
